What is legal liability?

Legal liability is when you're legally responsible for something. For example, if you experienced a house fire, your neighbours at surrounding properties could hold you liable for damage caused to their house or contents.

Rest assured, our policies include legal liability cover, which means we'll pay up to $2 million for your legal liability for damage to other people's property.
