In partnership with Drive Group, AA Insurance is excited to announce the opening of a new motor vehicle collision repair centre in West Auckland - Drive Group Avondale.
The facility is the second of its kind and represents another significant milestone in the company’s commitment to providing exceptional motor claims services to its customers.
The West Auckland location will be the insurer’s first co-location site with Drive Group, bringing together its West Auckland Customer Service Centre (CSC) and Drive Group repair facility under one roof.
Through the collaboration, AA Insurance expects to further streamline repair processes, improve turnaround times, and enhance the overall customer experience.
Simon Hobbs, Chief Operating Officer at AA Insurance, says, “staying ahead in the motor repair industry requires us to proactively assess market trends and meet the evolving needs of our customers. Alongside our nationwide Quality Repair Network (QRN), our partnership with Drive Group allows us to target repair times and bolster throughput across our full repairer network – meaning workshops remain utilised and allow customers to return to the road sooner.
Our continued collaboration with Drive Group and the launch of this co-location site is a crucial step in future-proofing our network and elevating the customer service experience.”
Drive Group CEO Steven Bubulj says, “collaborating with AA Insurance on this project is a great opportunity for us to combine our expertise and enhance the customer experience. This facility strengthens our collective ability to meet the growing demand for high-quality motor vehicle repairs across Auckland.”
Drive Group Avondale will start operating from the new facility in April 2025, with AA Insurance’s West Auckland CSC staff relocating to the site from July 2025. The west Auckland facility will be split into two areas – one as the AA Insurance’s Customer Service Centre and the other as the Drive Group repair facility.
“This facility will set a new benchmark for quality, speed, and efficiency, ensuring we continue to lead the way in vehicle repairs and provide an unparalleled level of service for our customers,” says Hobbs.
