Please note, My AA Insurance is only available for personal car, home, contents or landlord policies This means that if the policy holder is a company or trust, you will not be able to view these policies in your policy list. How to register

If you purchase a policy online, you'll be automatically registered using the details you provide. You'll just need to activate your registration via the confirmation email we send you.

If your policy wasn't purchased online, it's easy to register. You’ll need:

Name and date of birth of the main policy contact.

Your email address

The postcode of your postal address

Mobile number

Policy due to renew? Do it in My AA Insurance.

With My AA Insurance you can:

  • Renew your policy – in just a few clicks

  • Change your excess – choose a higher excess in return for a lower premium

  • Add or remove optional benefits – like excess-free glass cover

  • Change your payment frequency – to fortnightly, monthly or annually

There are still some things that we’ll need to take care of for you, so please call 0800 500 231 if you need help with any of the following.

  • Changing your cover type (e.g. from Third Party, Fire & Theft to Comprehensive Car insurance)

  • Checking the status of your direct debit instalments and paying any outstanding amount

  • Updating the personal details of any people insured on the policy – e.g. name change following marriage

  • Making a claim or paying your excess

  • Cancelling a policy

  • Changing an insured address - e.g. the address of your home that’s insured or where your contents are kept
